NDT TRAINING :
ULTRASONIC TESTING (UT)
| UT LEVEL I : | (DURATION - 40 HRS) |
Level I is a comprehensive course for individuals with little or no experience in Ultrasonic Testing as well as refresher course for individuals that need to brush up on ultrasonics. This course will provide operators with a solid foundation in industrial ultrasonics. Although introductory, this course offers in - depth coverage of ultrasonic theory and instrument operation on the latest flaw detectors. Through lectures and laboratory exercises, includes thickness gauging and variety of discontinuity detection, mapping and evaluation techniques, students are able to gain an understanding of technical principles and test procedures.
| UT LEVEL II : | (DURATION - 40 HRS) |
UT
Level II is a course for those who must calibrate and evaluate ultrasonic
information. Level II is an advanced course covering ultrasonic inspection
of a wide variety of product forms. It presupposes the basic ultrasonic knowledge
presented in our Level I course. Students participate in laboratory exercises
allowing them to identify waveform characteristics of various material defects.
In addition, students are trained to inspect according to applicable code
and specification, and learn to develop procedures for their own in-house
applications. In examining these codes, students learn how to apply the principles
and methods used to solve ultrasonic testing problems. Students will gain
the mathematical skills needed for modern day ultrasonic testing problems
- in addition to performing flaw characterization and evaluation. This course
is applications oriented and includes weld inspection, bond inspection and
immersion techniques. Angle beam testing and defect evaluation are covered
in detail. Equipment operational performance checks and advanced equipment
features are stressed.
| ULTRASONIC THICKNESS GAUGING : | (DURATION - 40 HRS) |
Ultrasonic thickness gauging is a comprehensive course for persons with little or no background in ultrasonic testing. Although introductory, this programme offers in-depth coverage of ultrasonic theory and instrument operation for thickness gauging with digital and waveform displays. The training manuals provide students with a clear understanding of technical principles and test procedures. Lab sessions stress procedural testing and proper recording of test results.
| ULTRASONIC WELD INSPECTION : | (DURATION - 40 HRS) |
An
advanced, five-day course in ultrasonic weld inspection techniques, intended
for persons who will inspect welds according to the AWS, ASME, API RP 2X,
and other codes, or who must develop their own in - house weld inspection
procedures. This course offers hands on training on various natural flaws
& mockups in addition to theory. This course is designed for level II and
III NDE management personnel.
| FAST (Ultrasonic Flaw Analysis and Sizing Technique): | (DURATION - 40 HRS) |
This five-day course introduces a high performance, cost - effective means of ultrasonic flaw detection and sizing. FAST offers increased reliability and accuracy, as well as reduced calibration and test time. FAST has been highly effective in detection and through-wall sizing, providing penetration to the far side of stainless steel welds. This course is designed for level II and III NDE management personnel.
RADIOGRAPHIC TESTING (RT)
| RT LEVEL I : | (DURATION - 40 HRS) |
Level
I is a comprehensive course for individuals with little or no experience in
Radiographic Testing as well as refresher course for individuals those who
need to brush up on radiography. A basic course in principles and theory of
radiography, radiation safety, operation of radiographic equipment and film
processing. It will provide a good foundation in the theory of radiographic
testing.
| RT LEVEL II: | (DURATION - 40 HRS) |
Level II is an advanced course in radiographic techniques, radiation safety requirements, and film interpretation principles. During laboratory sessions, students learn to perform radiography according to codes, specifications and standards as well as to select and apply proper techniques. Safety requirements for radiographer as well as for inspector are also covered.
| RT FILM INTERPRETATION : | (DURATION - 40 HRS) |
A specialized course for developing skills in the art and science of evaluating radiographs according to various codes and standards. Presentation slides of various natural and artificial flaws add more understanding on fundamental of radiographic film interpretation.
LIQUID PENETRANT TESTING (PT)
| PT LEVEL I (R) : | (DURATION - 24 HRS) |
Three days fundamental course for those who has little experience in PT.An individual qualified as Level - I ( R ) for PT shall be authorized to perform necessary operation up to application of developer. He shall not be authorized to interpret & evaluate the result.
| PT LEVEL I & II : | (DURATION - 24 HRS) |
This course is designed to impart the theoretical & practical knowledge of detecting flaws which are open to surface using penetrant testing. This course also offers hands-on training on natural & artificial flaws using visible as well as fluorescent penetrants with solvent removable and water washable penetrants.
MAGNETIC PARTICLE TESTING
(MT)
| MT LEVEL I & II : | (DURATION - 24 HRS) |
This course is designed to impart theoretical & practical knowledge of detecting surface and near surface flaws in ferromagnetic material using Magnetic Particle Testing. This course offers hands on training on various natural & artificial flaws using different Magnetic particle test methods.
LEAK
TESTING (LT)
| LT LEVEL I : | (DURATION : 40 HRS) |
Level I is a comprehensive course for individuals with little or no experience in Leak Testing as well as refresher course for individuals that need to brush up on leak testing. eg. mass spectrometer, pressure change, bubble, halogen diode leak testing. Although introductory, this course offers in depth coverage of fundamentals and safety in leak testing and basics of different leak testing methods.
| LT LEVEL Il : | (DURATION : 40 HRS) |
